Live Magnetic Air was recorded at this venue as well. Two shows were played tonight, giving the band four shows of material to work with from the consecutive nights.
Kim later recalled that had contracted laryngitis and his voice gave out (a review of last night's show says it was already showing signs of strain then), leading them to overdub some of his lead vocals for the live album released just over a month later. Like all Max Webster albums, it went gold (A Million Vacations went platinum).

That night I had a date with this beautiful blonde. Took me weeks to get up the nerve to ask her out. She said yes. We smoked a couple joints before the show. She got really high. She was wearing like a short trench coat. I couldn't figure it out till we got to our seats and as soon as Max came on she took off the coat and was wearing the best groupie gear I had seen and went nuts. Needless to say the boys in the band enjoyed the view.

We got the "no firecrackers on the stage or the guys will stop" speech before they came on. Back in the day it was a ritual to have firecrackers, beach balls, and frisbees at a rock show. They closed the show with Hangover. Max at their finest!
