Tom Berry says he first saw Max at the Black Hawk Inn. At the time an employee of RCA, he ended up being Kim Mitchell's manager for decades. He later reflected on Max Webster: "This was my favourite thing. I just loved it to death. It was such a crazy wonderful combination of everything that I felt was good about rock. And they were just staggering live."
